The balance on the rental is due two weeks prior to the rental date.

No.  Staff will be in the building at all times to let you in the hall or lock up.

Everything that you brought into the hall must be removed by 1:30am.  Anything left in the hall will be discarded.

All occasional rentals must be paid at the time of booking.  You can either make the booking by phone using credit card or you can come into the Community Complex and make the booking by paying with Cash, credit card or Interac.

On the day of your rental you will have access from 8:00am on.

For public and adult skating the cost is $2.25 per skater.

SOCAN is the Society of Composers and Authors.  We remit fees to SOCAN on your behalf for the music that you play at your event.

Prime time ice is Monday to Friday after 5pm, weekends and holidays. Non prime time is Monday to Friday before 4pm.

Casual ice is available Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm with the last booking from 2-3pm.  Casual ice can only be booked 24 hours in advance.  Casual ice is for groups of 6 or less including any adults and or goalies.  Should you exceed 6 people you will be charged the non prime rate of $102.00 per hour.  Casual ice is only available on the Green Pad only.

The kitchen comes with the following:
  • dishwasher (detergent is provided)
  • 2 gas ovens
  • 10 burner gas stove
  • warming oven
  • serving oven
  • stainless steel prep area
  • four serving trolleys
  • 2 two door upright coolers
  • small chest freezer
  • vegetable warmer

The bar area comes with the following:

  • 1 two door cooler
  • 2 liquor trees
  • serving window
  • sink
  • 480 square feet available
  • 30- 4 x 4 pieces of black stage
  • black skirting available
  • 16" and 40" legs available

The dimensions are 63 metres x 66 metres.

We offer public skating at both Southwood Arena and Civic Centre.  To see a complete schedule you can view one online or pick one up at the arena.

There are some hours of ice available to rent each week but mostly during Non Prime hours.  We may have the occasional weekend or late night weekday rental so call the office to check.

No, the kitchen and bar area are extra.  The cost to rent this area is $85.71+ gst.

Rates effective September 1, 2008 are as follows...

  • Prime time $140.00/hour
  • Non Prime time $102.00/hour
  • Minor Hockey, Wildcats and Woodstock Skating Club Prime time $107.00/hour
  • Minor Hockey, Wildcats and Woodstock Skating Club Non Prime time $94.00/hour
  • Casual Ice $45.00/hour

Please note Casual Ice is available Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm only with a maximum of 6 skaters on the ice.

The Red Pad has 2000 seats plus standing room.

We do not accept reservations for more then one year in advance.

The Goff Hall can hold 450 people theatre style (chairs only); 180 classroom style; 270 banquet style using round tables and 320 banquet style using rectangle tables.

Ice is kept in the Green Pad all year long.  The Red Pad has ice in from the Civic holiday (August) to Victoria Day weekend (May).  The Civic Centre has ice in from Mid October (Thanksgiving) to mid May. Ice in April and May at the Civic Centre is limited.

All ice users from the previous year are offered their ice first, then any remaining ice is rented out on a first come- first served basis.

To book ice time at either Southwood Arena or the Civic Centre call 421-3484 ext 4301.

The main office at the Complex is open Monday - Friday from 9am - 12noon and 1pm - 5pm. If you need assistance during non office hours please use the two radio system.   The radio is located in the lower level in the dressing room hallway on the left hand side of the wall at the far end by the Renegades Room. To use the radio simply push the red button and talk clearly into the microphone. Take your hand off the red button to listen.

A radio system has also been installed by the elevator in the main lobby. It works the same as the one on the lower level.

At this time we do not have a set schedule for pick- up hockey.  However, groups are more then welcome to rent ice and form their own pickup game.

No.  You must provide your own or hire a caterer that offers these services.

Yes, we require a deposit of $150.00

For events where alcohol is to be served PAL Insurance is required.  PAL insurance can be purchased from your home or auto insurance company.  We require $2 million liability insurance.  More information can be found at PAL Canada.

Yes.  You can chose any caterer you like.

Yes, you must go to a Liquor Control Board of Ontario outlet in Woodstock to get an application for a special occasions permit.  Once processed you must provide a copy to the Goff Hall prior to your function.

Note - You must apply for the permit at least 30 days before the event date.

You must hire your own bartenders as the Community Complex does not offer any bartending services.  Bartenders MUST be Smart Serve certified. Proof of certification will be required.

Yes. You can buy a booklet of 10 skating passes for $16.

If available you can rent the hall for $120.00 to allow you to bring in items for your rental. If you do not rent the hall on the day before you will not be allowed to bring in any items. No exceptions.

Candles can only be used as centre pieces on the centre of the tables. We do not allow free standing candles in the building.
