The City of Woodstock has enacted a new False Fire Alarm bylaw that addresses multiple false fire responses to a single address. A graduated cost-recovery action may be undertaken upon the third and each subsequent false fire alarm response in the previous 12 month period.

Additionally, any false fire alarm response initiated by service technicians not previously notifying the City of work being performed on the fire alarm system shall incur an immediate cost-recovery action.
